We are always looking for ways to better serve the citizens of East Pierce. Community Connect is a free, secure, and easy to use platform that allows you to share critical information about your household that will aid first responders and emergency response personnel when responding to your residence. By providing information about your household that you feel is important for us to know about at the time of an emergency, we can ensure you and everything you care about is protected to the best of our ability.

Enable your commercial building, schools, or business property to provide your emergency plans and most critical information to your First Responders - available at a moment's notice in the event of an emergency. Stay aware and communicate with Emergency Services during an incident with an automatic direct line of communication with responders en route to your location via text message.

Burn Permitting Policy
In addition to Community Connect enabling your First Responders to better protect your property and family’s well-being, you can also handle all Burn Permitting within the Community Connect portal. Access, manage, and seek approval for burns within the same account you use to manage your property and its occupants.
ATTENTION: FOR THIS PERMIT TO BE VALID, THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS MUST BE MET:
No burning shall be conducted during an established “Burn Ban”. The resident must verify that there are no burn bans in effect before ignition of the fire. Check for burn bans at:
• Air Quality - Puget Sound Clean Air Agency website www.pscleanair.org or call 1-800-595-4341.
• Fire Safety – East Pierce Fire & Rescue website www.eastpiercefire.org.
how secure is my data and how is it used?
Data that you provide Community Connect is secure and is used only for the purpose of better serving you during emergency situations. Your information is never used for any other purpose. All logins are password protected with bank level encryption and security. If you’re comfortable logging in to your online bank you’ll be comfortable logging in to Community Connect.
