Vulcan County Emergency Management, Fire Services and Regulatory Services is committed to protecting the safety and well-being of the residents, families, farms, ranches, and businesses across our County — including the communities of Vulcan, Arrowwood, Carmangay, Champion, Milo, Lomond and surrounding rural areas.
As part of our commitment to this diverse and close-knit county, we continually look for new and effective ways to enhance emergency response, strengthen community preparedness, and ensure that when emergencies occur — whether in town, on the highway, or out on the range — our responders have the information they need to act quickly and safely.
With that in mind, we are pleased to introduce Community Connect — a free, secure, and easy-to-use online platform that allows residents, business owners, and agricultural operators throughout Vulcan County to share important details about their household, property, or operation with first responders before an emergency happens.
This voluntary information is accessed only during an emergency response and can significantly improve the safety of you, your loved ones, your livestock, and your property.
Through Community Connect, you may choose to provide details such as:
- Property access points, gates, rural addresses, or unique site features
- Medical, mobility, or other health-related considerations
- Pets, livestock, or animals on site
- Hazardous materials, grain bins, fuel storage, specialized equipment, or other risks
- Contact information for occupants, keyholders, farm managers, or business operators
Any additional details that would help first responders protect your property and those on it
In a county as vast and agricultural as ours, where response times and access can vary, having accurate, up-to-date information can make a critical difference. By taking just a few minutes to create a profile, you help our crews respond more efficiently, make informed decisions, and ensure safer outcomes for both your family and our firefighters when seconds matter.
We encourage all residents, producers, and business owners across Vulcan County — from our towns and villages to our rural roads and hamlets — to sign up and participate. Your partnership is an important step toward building a safer, stronger, and more resilient community for everyone
