As the Fire Chief of Marion County Fire Rescue, my commitment to our community goes beyond just leading the department—it is about genuinely caring for the people we serve. By embracing innovative tools such as Community Connect, we are not only enhancing our operations, but we are also building stronger, more personal connections with the residents we protect.
Our mission is to safeguard life and property with the utmost honor, compassion, and respect. I believe in the power of collaboration, where our citizens share vital information with us so we can respond quickly and effectively when it matters most. This partnership helps everyone feel secure while Marion County continues to thrive.
Our guiding principles are at the core of everything we do: dedication to serve, professional operations, and resource stewardship. These, along with our values of humbleness, integrity, commitment, accountability, respect, and discipline, are what drive us every day.
I envision Marion County as a place where families flourish and where our fire rescue team is looked upon as not just first responders but as trusted neighbors. Together, we are building a community that is well planned, supportive, and ready for anything, which ensures a high quality of life for everyone.
