The Liberty Fire Department is proud to serve a growing and vibrant community, and our mission has always been rooted in preparedness, prevention, and rapid emergency response. As part of our continued efforts to enhance public safety across the City of Liberty, I am pleased to introduce First Due Community Connect, a new community safety program now available to our residents and businesses.
What is Community Connect?
Community Connect is a free, secure online platform that allows residents and business owners within the City of Liberty to voluntarily share important life-safety and property information directly with the Liberty Fire Department. This information is made available to responding firefighters, paramedics, and command staff before they arrive on scene, allowing crews to respond more efficiently and safely during emergencies.
Why Community Connect Matters to Liberty
No two emergencies are the same. Having access to critical information in advance allows our crews to act faster, smarter, and with greater precision—especially during high-stress, time-sensitive situations. Community Connect strengthens our ability to protect residents, visitors, and first responders by reducing uncertainty and improving situational awareness.
Examples of information you may choose to provide include:
Household or Occupancy Details:
Number of occupants, functional or medical needs, and pet information
Property Information:
Gate or access codes, utility shutoff locations, fire sprinkler systems, or unique hazards
Emergency Contacts:
Preferred phone numbers to assist responders with access or notifications
Participation is completely voluntary, and you remain in control of your information at all times. Updates can be made easily as circumstances change.
Your privacy and security are a priority
Community Connect utilizes bank-level encryption and industry-standard security protections. All information is securely stored and is accessible only to authorized public safety personnel for emergency response and community safety purposes.
