When the Evendale Fire Department responds to an emergency, every second truly counts. Preparation is key, and having accurate information can make all the difference in ensuring a fast and effective response.
That is why we are excited to introduce Community Connect, a secure online platform designed to help us better protect you, your loved ones and property during emergencies. This new technology adheres to three of our core values; respect, accountability and innovation.
By taking a few minutes to share details such as your home or business layout, the number of family members or employees, whether anyone has mobility challenges or relies on critical medication, and information about pets, you’ll help our team respond more safely and efficiently. These details save valuable seconds during an emergency - seconds that can mean the difference between rescue and tragedy.
Your privacy and security are our top priority. All information entered into Community Connect is protected with bank-level encryption. This data is accessible only to Evendale Fire Department Officers actively responding to an emergency at your address, and only for the duration of that incident. Once we close the incident with the county, we can no longer access the data.
As both the Fire Chief and a proud resident of the Village of Evendale, I’ve already added my own family’s information to the system. I invite you to join me in doing the same. Together, we can make our community stronger, safer, and more prepared for whatever comes our way.
