Since 1982, our dedicated members have been proudly serving our diverse communities. Oxdrift Fire Team is a volunteer department that proudly provides fire and rescue services to the citizens and visitors of the Greater Oxdrift Area and Migisi Sahaigan, an area covering over 780 square kilometers and serving nearly 2900 citizens. We are committed to protecting the lives and property of our communities through excellence in prevention, education, training and emergency response.
Our emergency response services include fire suppression, extrication and other emergency operations. In the event of an emergency, I take pride in the capabilities of our highly skilled members. I am impressed on a daily basis with the professionalism, dedication, integrity, respect and resourcefulness of the members of our team and the commitment to the citizens, visitors, and businesses of our communities. Our strength is truly in our people.
We are always looking for ways to better serve the citizens of our communities. For this reason, over the next couple months we are rolling out a new program to protect our residents and their property in the most effective way possible. Community Connect is a free, secure, and easy to use platform that allows you to share critical information about your household that will aid first responders and emergency response personnel when responding to your residence or business. By providing information about your household or business that you feel is important for us to know about at the time of an emergency, we can ensure you and everything you care about is protected to the best of our ability.
