The mission of Greenville Firefighters IAFF Local 1976 is to protect life and property from fire and other emergencies within the Borough of Greenville, Pennsylvania, and our surrounding communities, through professional service, ongoing training, and a strong commitment to public safety and community support.
Captain's Statement:
At Greenville Firefighters IAFF Local 1976, we are continuously working to improve the level of service we provide to the Borough of Greenville and our surrounding communities. Our members remain committed to training, preparedness, and embracing programs and tools that enhance firefighter safety and improve emergency response.
Initiatives like this allow us to gather important information ahead of time, giving our firefighters a clearer picture when responding to emergencies where seconds truly matter. By working together with our residents and local businesses, we strengthen our ability to protect lives and property while continuing to provide the professional, dependable service our community expects and deserves.
WHO should self-report?
Everyone should self-report. Even if you are asymptomatic or tested negative, it is important to let First Responders know your situation. If you are high-risk or have any access and functional needs, please also self-report so that emergency services can be better prepared to help during this crisis.

High-Risk
People who are considered high-risk from an age and health perspective or have access and functional needs should report.
COVID-19
Anyone who has tested positive, showing symptoms or has been in contact with anyone who has tested positive or has symptoms.
